Ira K. Rushing
Ira was born in Jackson, Mississippi and has been licensed to practice law since 2016. He has experience as a litigation attorney in large and mid-size law firms and as a sole practitioner. Along with his practice at Currie Johnson, Ira is a current Judge Advocate in the Mississippi Army National Guard where he manages and participates in all phases of litigation, specializing in national security, labor relations and civilian employment, and cybersecurity and data privacy.
In addition to traditional litigation experience, Ira is a certified Project Management Professional and has extensive project management experience throughout over fifteen years of service in both the U.S. Marine Corps and Mississippi Army National Guard. Before joining Currie Johnson, Ira served as a Legal Project Manager at an Am Law 200 firm where he personally managed multiple legal departments and practice groups through millions of dollars in complex legal engagements, collaborating with legal teams and clients to promote efficient and effective legal representation.
Ira is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Mississippi. He lives in Jackson with his wife and daughter.
