Currie Johnson obtains summary judgment in bad faith suit.

Mike Myers, Bill Creel and Joseph Gill  obtained summary judgment for insurer who was accused of failure to timely offer insured’s policy limits in settlement of claim involving catastrophic injury, resulting in multi-million dollar judgment against insured.  Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals held that insurer had no duty to offer limits in absence of demand within policy limits, and affirmed dismissal of bad faith suit.  805 F.3d 535 (5th Cir. 2015), cert. denied 136 S.Ct 1715 (2016).
