G. Spencer Beard, Jr.

Spencer Beard was born in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in 1973, and grew up in North Carolina. After college, Mr. Beard ventured to Oxford, England on a six-month work visa, where he found employment with a small business services company and a local pub.

After returning to the United States, Mr. Beard worked for ESPN, Inc. in Bristol, Connecticut, and New York City. After that, while staying in New York, Mr. Beard worked for the Walt Disney Company in their interactive television division, “ABC’s Enhanced TV.” 

Mr. Beard met his future wife, Emmie, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, while in New York. They have one son, born in the summer of 2006, and are members of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cathedral in Jackson.

Mr. Beard practices general defense litigation, with an emphasis on premises liability and nursing home claims.
